I keep meaning to get Mikko allergy tested. We have done several 3 month trials of GF/DF with no improvements though.

Really interesting article! I have actually been following this sort of eating plan for William.
I have celiac disease and also lactose intolerance so we quickly figured out that William was the same (not sure if it's celiac or just an intolerance, he was too young to be tested when we figured it out, and there is no way I am subjecting him to a gluten challenge now!)
We did a candida diet for a few months, at the same time as probiotics. I think there was some improvement, and think he would do well to stay away from processed sugar, but unfortunately not everyone is on board with this! I keep him off processed sugar when he is with me, as I don't eat it myself.
I still breastfeed him so he will be getting heaps of it A. I take a B6 supplement for half the month, so he will be getting some of that also.
And we give him a fish oil complex (6&12 I think).

very interesting. We tried gluten free for a while and it seemed to have a temporary improvement, but no going back when we challenged the boys with it. I think we need to do some vitamin increases though, finding good quality stuff we can sneak into his drinks seems to be the way to go, many of the food that is high in these things he won't touch.

I guess I am extremely lucky in that respect! W really likes the fish oil (comvita lemonade flavour) so we can sneak extra vitamins or whatever mixed in with that!
